I have a few payments to send to my family overseas. Can I open a Chexx Inc account?

I’m sorry. Chexx Inc. does not offer retail remittance services. Only registered businesses who regularly need to send payments to beneficiaries around the world can open a Chexx Inc account.

Can I have more than one account?

You only need one Chexx Inc client account to send payments in any currency. However, if you wish, it is possible to maintain two or more accounts with balances in different currencies.

How do I top up my account?

When your client account is opened, Chexx Inc will provide you with bank account details that you can use to transfer funds for credit to your client account. It is also possible to top up by check.

How do I order payments?

There are three ways that you can submit payment requests:
  1. Format a file of payment information using Chexx Inc’s csv Raven format and upload the file using Raven Online, your secure account portal.
  2. Format a file of payment information using Chexx Inc’s csv Raven format and drop the file into a secure Chexx Inc web folder on your desk top.
  3. Integrate using Raven API so that you may request payments in real time (appropriate for wallets, loyalty accounts, etc).

How long does it take to set up an account and begin sending payments?

For most clients, the process takes only a few days. Once we’ve received a completed application and verified the information provided, the account can be set up in as little as 24 hours. Depending on the level of complexity, clients can begin issuing payments immediately or as many as 14 days.


Does Chexx Inc. offer API integration options?

Yes. We support API integration for automatic processing of both high volume and individual payments.


Which currencies can I use to fund my account?

You may fund your account in whichever currency is most convenient to you. Chexx Inc. will convert the currency in your account into the specified currencies of your payments.

Which currencies can I use to send payments?

No matter where you are based, you can choose to send payments using a variety of currencies. Please refer to our currency guide for a complete list of available currencies.


How do I see what payments have been processed?

Raven Online, your secure account portal, offers you the ability to search payments and see whether or not they have been completed. If you choose to use a Chexx Inc. web folder for submitting payment request files, a payment response file will be placed within your web folder when payments are complete.
